Absolutely horrible show to watch on weekly releases. It's a good show but lord is it slow burn when 2-3 weeks go by on the same conflict with minimal plot advancement
Make season 2 of Hōseki no Kuni already Orange
The Major going from appropriate military outfits to a very questionable outfit in season 2 really had me questioning whhyyy
Feels like a fable being told, a classical story of princes and kings and conflict and climax. Loved it, great characters too
It is nice when a classic cult following game you hear of your entire time online for decades actually turns out to be good
From the most washed out 1080p, 60Hz monitors I owned to a 140Hz 1440p monitor with a color pallet I didn't even know existed. I use to be able to see clearly in Tarkov at night with how washed out it was.
I don't know if there is a better game to play than this after upgrading monitors, it was perfect. This was my first time playing Half-Life too and it felt like playing the original Dark Souls
You know, this is here because Rumbleverse was a nice time in life. A chill job, I'd come home from work at 9am with a snack and drink and play this casual-competitive, goofy, wrestling battle royale with a friend and it was great. The shutdown was inevitable but the moment it existed in my life will last
Okay until the story gets to the point where if you have any surface level understand of copywrite and realize the story would make the game illegal and therefore taking you out of the game completely
I don't understand how an Estonian novelist can write English so well, or at least how he can translate over the words so well
The International 2023, where ticket costs shot up to $800+ for championship weekend, over 2.5x that of prior years. I enjoy Valve, for the most part, as much as a person can say that about an entity that only cares about the money in your wallet. But moves like this and many more only remind me how Valve is a min-max type of company developing things for the high-end consumer ONLY
Fantastic, still playable and great today. Thought the ending was certainly a bit rushed :p
Work gives you free drinks and look at that, all a sudden your a consumer of Monster Energy. Work, the gateway device
It is nice to apply yourself, especially for the good of another. I made a small program in a completely inappropriate language just because it was what I was dabbling in at the time. But it was still appreciated and used, and I like that
This game looks BEAUTIFUL on a good monitor. Oh, ye, right, the puzzles are cool too. This game really needed a check list for pizzles done in certain areas or something to keep track of things
AAA may have abandoned developing co-op games, I'm glad indie can still carry. This game is fantastic for a small studio and deserves all the praise, one of the best co-op games to play with a friend and have some fun together
With clear inspiration from Arcane, this is another great, mature, animated series
What an absolute dropped ball of a story. How can you actually build up suspense and mystery to do nothing with it and then end
Again, I tried getting into the game because i appreciate the level design and the zombies are fine but as a whole it is so shallow and tests your attention very quickly
Probably the best "fan game" to be released? This does not even feel fan related, it feels official and a great continuation of Toby Fox's game design and spirit(humor)
Will revisit in the future, now just wasn't the time
After playing System Shock 2 I still wanted to play more crumbling space station, explorative, action games and this was a great pick. This game is the real Bioshock successor. System Shock 2 into Bioshock into Prey and now I'll be waiting for the next in line
I long out grew this games target audience. I think its primarily the writing, gags, and such because I think the co-op, open worldness is awesome still. But this game primarily suffers from the illusion of impact is what I'd call it. Skill trees and such that marginally do much on average
Car was not passing the lovely smog check required so I brought it in to a shop and they wanted like four-grand. Hell no, I looked into it, bought the tools, and swapped out the exhaust manifold myself. Saved 3.4k and had an awesome experience learning more about automotives. I will always promote people do their own repairs if it is reasonable work
I cannot remember how I ended up at this game but I am glad I did. I might just be a sucker for solid horror games with an emphasis on tension and environment.
It won't blow you away to the level the base game but if you liked the base game you will not regret playing this
The search for a follow up game to System Shock 2 & Prey lead me here and I left soon. This game is so much worse than both of those
Sleeper hit of the summer among the friend group. Some random furry, $2, pvp game would eat 75 hours of my time and I'd only wish there was more of it. The game is great with friends, 2v2s, even 3v3s, a blast. You can play a game sometimes and tell that not only is the product skillfully put together but was also lovingly so. That the creators actually enjoyed their work
Celeste was one of those games I'd known about for years and years and heard praise again and again for but seeing it? Looked like the typical indie platformer, nothing special. I had the chance to play it for free so I figured why not and it actually turned out great. The music, the characters, the levels, even the sappy story and conflict I could dig
The manga paints a better, more thorough picture. Read that instead. Ouran #01
I really want to like this game and did for the first couple levels. The atmosphere is everything I want, the tension, the violence, the enemies. But it all fell apart at the first real confrontation of the alien where it felt like a huge step down in free-willed, tense exploration and more of a tedious game of running from the one-shot killing machine. Ye, I love hiding in my videogames, it is sooo fun ( •_•)
First episode was good but then it immediately turned generic and lost me
I have to play this again with friends, great mod
You wouldn't know it until you try it but shooting guns is fun
We do a lil more travel'n
Feels more like a tech demo and I don't mean that disparagingly
Will revisit at another time for sure
I want to like it but can not get into it after multiple tries. I can always still appreciate the creative endevour
Season 1 was better but season 2 had some highlights accopanying the lowlights. Harmony just wasn't that interesting of a story and entire episodes were committed to it
This series will probably only be remembered for the first season
It was a notable, fun moment for me getting a Trickster in hardcore mode to like level 90. The build... she was so smooth, so quick, so strong... and then you know how it is, bam dead
For as large a Tarkov fan I am you would think I'd be able to dive in to this and not get absolutely lost and aimless and give up
This game can actually be really enjoyable, its just unfortunate no one else I know is willing to be as open-minded about trying it out
This game is good. Good everything. Now let us pray Darkwood 2 can hold a light
Friend slop? Flavor of the month? Actually, it wasn't. With every update I would love to revisit it and climb again. A friend slipping off a cliff costs a life but creates a memory
The last time I played this game, much earlier in the development cycle, it was trash. It was not good. Now though, with more polish and direction, they're definitely on to something which is amazing because prior they had me guessing what they were doing with their time
People say Kojima's games are movies but this is the most movie-like I've played and I've played multiple Metal Gear games. Alan Wake 2 is just a fantastical display of doing nothing really bad but nothing exceedingly memorable and great. Despite it all, it was pleasant, appreciated for its existence
This is the third and last time I will play this game. The gameplay is soo numbingly "meh" but I'll constantly get drawn in by the environments(which are stellar)
It is simple and cheaper and I'd encourage anyone to do it if not because of a distrust in other's doing it and not just putting in reused oil
There are a handful of specific aspects that Detective Cohle reminds me of myself but that could come off extremely conceited and/or weird so lets forget this entire sentence
I think I bought this for no reason besides constantly seeing its praise and it being a handful of pennies on sale and ye, it's fun. But it's the kind of fun that makes me wonder if its healthy, if it should be consumed. It humans were wired to enjoy watching paint dry, would there be arguments to not watch paint dry, even if its natural
It is not about the end destination, its about the journey, the movie
What's the point in any of this
Tries way too hard to be philosphical in everything and comes out a loser this time. Hard to say considering I like the show
Okay movie that might wow you if it's your first time exposed to the sci-fi physic and dramatic interpretations of them. And the ending is just sorta pure fiction you will have to shut off your brain to enjoy in the slightest
Its a show I don't really understand why it is so highly praised. I made it to episode 6 or so and it's just a journey of continuous irrational moves and unrealistic people-actions. It feels like the actors are playing as actors rather than real people if that makes sense, it could be a symptom of how ridiculous the entire world is though
Some remarkably relatable dialogue going on here, what that mean (・_・)
Accidentally bought coffee beans instead of grains and made the snap decision to just manually grind them. Never again
Walking back to car. Sit in the driver's seat. What's that hissing sound? Focus. Listen. Get out of car. Look around. Your front left tire is current doing its best impression of particular slithering reptile. Walk back into store. Buy patch kit. Apply. Find out in the subsequent days that it is actually difficult to remove a tire from the wheel and better to pay someone at a shop $20 to remove it and put on a new tire in 60 seconds.
About as fun as swallowing glass bits. And for a worse buzz than caffeine. Black coffee wins
I can look past the studio's controversy and judge the piece on its own merits. Looking forward to playing one day
You give them your blood for free or a pittance. They sell the blood for $200-$300 to hospitals. Hospitals sell it back to you for 3x-4x that.
Disappointing. You'll feel absolutely aimless in a world you'll want to experience but have to deal with irritating "puzzles". Why even give the illusion of choice if they still can only go one way
I was hype about this game sometime yeaaars ago but the longer it went and more controversy that came out the more bleak it became. Grim when years ago they annouced they were exploring class-based gameplay. I tried three times to get into it and it just didn't do anything for me. Tarkov just feels like the more complete experience for me
A demo? Favorited? Really looking forward to this casual, goofy, fun, social game. Please release already
The script writing for this show is really incredible if you consider there is zero dead air, there is always yapping
At this point I realized with some of the warm-up bands, I really like loud bands and the energy that comes with them
I wanted to be into it but couldn't. I'm sure it's good from my impression, its just not for me
Fun and addicting, I did all I wanted in a couple days and like 50hrs of playtime. :-)
Short and sweet. Thank you to all the fake online rage for introducing me to the game
Starting to feel more like a slog through mud with the writing and plot. At least the very ending dilemma was neat
It's a weird "game". More like a movie and has the weirdest choice in interface style I've ever seen. Storywise if you're familiar with Slav culture and motifs, it'll be what you expect
I really immersed myself into this. The graphics were beautiful and the SFX were some of the best I've heard. The team of three really put together something special that they should be proud of, which amazingly was only 3 people
First time playing and it was rough. Definitely an experimental type of game for the time that lead into the more perfect Dark Souls
Boring. There's better movies that more efficicnely get the point across of a missed connection. That said i did like some of the dialogue in the latter half of the movie
"Wow, this game isn't bad actually, maybe it's quite good." Is what I thought when I stumbled onto it and played some. It did turn out to actually be a great. The graphics, the voice acting, story was solid. And despite all this I was thinking there's no way this sold well and it didn't with an estimated half a million in sales. The game is great though and those that worked on it should feel like they made something special
Watched it off a recommendation and it turned out alright. Episode one didn't hook me, not even episode two, or three. Episode four made me feel like there might be something to this series and it wasn't just random, story-less-ness
Probably my most liked chapter since 2. I was concerned this game has been stretch soooo long over time my interest may have faded but this chapter brought it back
It genuinely wasn't bad, which is surprising because I expected less from a 2009 "Comedy/ Drama" film. But it ended up telling an honest take on unrequinted love and moving on, much better a film than Past Lives
I'll need to rewatch this film again. The first half had me skeptical on the supposed greatness but latter half sold me
I have had this movie on my radar for years and what a let down, I watched the directors cut which is even longer too. There's nothing to be learned, none of the characters are very likeable, the plot is entirely obvious; the setting was nice at least. Liking Hereditary may have setup greater expectations- wait, how did hereditary come out BEFORE Midsommar?! ay caramba
The humorous telling of this degenerate group doesn't mask the sadness of it all. Still a good movie
Preferred over the original Quake but that is probably because I didn't have any sentimentality and it was more modern
A genuine and true comedy where every scene is working towards a joke
This generations Katamari Damacy feeling game?
Enjoyable, surprisingly so. Definitely a conflict to think about literally and metaphorically
A mainstream movie that released in the 80's was dropping hard R's and showing numorous naked babes. Made me think about the change and tolerance in cultural standards over the decades
Drawn in by the attitude and character design but ultimately you should just play A Hat in Time instead
Some cool animation at certain points but overall I prefer the social issues tackled in a way similar to Shinsekai Yori, which felt a lot more fleshed out
This game is essentially the "PowerWash Simulator" game but for people that want to be taking apart space ships. It was comfy and fun but the unskippable dialogue and a pretty stagnent and progress tree didn't reel me in too hard
At $1.50 it is hard to pass up a goofy DnD co-op game. You'll get your monies worth and die to boulders... lots of boulders
Primarily relying on tension and suspense build up makes it good to me. The lighting is also notable, really being used to portray people in a certain way
Fun but nothing of real value. Story tries to do things but goes nowhere
